In the Tokyo subway system you might find a wall filled with Apple iPod Nano’s. No, not real ones, but plastic cutouts that you can remove from the wall and take with you. They are the actual size of the Nano, and are made with a sturdy plastic.

Much to my suprise, I later realised that […]

I don’t know about you, but I can think of about a hundred thousand different things I would rather spend $100,000 on rather than a virtual space station, but in Project Entropia there is at least one person that would rather the virtual space station.
A virtual space resort being built in the online role-playing game, […]

Have you reached the limit of the amount of people you can have on your MSN Messenger list? Neither have I, but it seems someone must have, or Microsoft thought that it would be a good marketing gimmic, as they have increased the amount of buddies you can have on you list to 600.
I don’t […]

Seagate 7200.9 500GB: Mouthwatering Benchmarks

Anandtech has an article up benchmarking the 7200.9 a 500 Gigabyte SATA hard drive with 3.0Gbps transfer rate and a 16mb buffer.
Oddly enough the 7200.9 with native command queuing (NCQ) did only slightly better in real world tests, while doing worse in many benchmark tests.
Seagate’s 500GB 7200.9 performed exceptionally well in the game level loading […]

Computers On The Big Screen

Let’s face it. Hollywood gets a lot of things wrong. The one thing they seem to never do right are computers. Annoyances.org has compiled a list of some of the more blatant errors. A few of my favorites.

The most relevant information is displayed in a separate windows right in the middle of the screen, but […]
