Comics Continuum has learned that David Boreanaz has been cast as Hal Jordan in the upcoming Justice League: The New Frontier Direct-to-DVD animated feature. Boreanaz is currently starring on Fox’s “Bones”, but is probably best know (in geek communities, anyway) as the character Angel from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the “Angel” television series.

At his “Cup of Joe” panel, Marvel Editor-in-Cheif Joe Quesada announced that Marvel will be producing an ongoing Halo comic. No word on the creative team. We’ll have more as it develops.
