PlusDeckEX - An external USB tape player

One of the best sold items in the “geek” online store thinkgeek, is the original PlusDeck which is an internal tape drive. Despite having a large price, no one else makes this drive, at least not that we know of, but it certainly drove enough interest for the company to create a new model of […]

If you thought that the iPod line had already expanded enough then think again, as Apple has just announced it’s new lineup, and expands the line with one more product called the iPod Touch.

It snuck up on everybody and became possibly the best summer movie in theaters this year.  Word comes today that Transformers will come to DVD and HD-DVD on October 16.

Speculation on the motivation for this price drop ranges everywhere from the likelihood of a new Zune product (which we reported on here) and […]

Steampunk-esque Star Wars Artwork

I’m really digging this steampunk artwork that’s been popping up lately.  If you haven’t seen it, google “steampunk star wars”.
Though this isn’t technically steampunk, it’s still got that industrial feel…and I felt like saying steampunk, so there.  Click on over for a look at a Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, and Alien.  Or, as the site puts […]

Samsung Croix: Yet Another Non-Apple iPhone

Engadget has info on Samsung’s latest device - the Croix. The name translated into “Cross” and is named that way, apparenlty, because of its ability to be a “progressive continuum, as opposed to discrete transmission from one item to another,”
I have no idea what that means.
It just looks like another iPhone wanna-be to me.

At the beginning of August, Microsoft announced that it’s next version of Office for the Mac was being delayed until January of 2008.
Obviously this didn’t please all of the Mac users who were waiting for it’s release. Although the team claims to be working very hard on it, they (or someone working with/for them) had […]

Toshiba’s Lineage 2-tatooed laptop

Even though World of Warcraft still dominates most of the MMO market, Lineage 2 isn’t doing too badly either (despite having completely different player-base numbers). Recently, they partnered with Toshiba and a new Lineage 2-themed laptop emerged, which is based off of a Dynabook Satellite model.
Lineage 2 is quite demanding application, so my first concern […]
