That weird guy (some people call him Dan Benjamin) over at Hivelogic has written an excellent tutorial for anyone on OS X showing you how to install Ruby, Rails and FastCGI so you can jump on the next great development bandwagon.
Why do bloggers seem to write better tutorials than other major sites?

1This couldn’t be any more appropriately timed. I’ve spent the last two late nights trying to get this up and running.
Being on OSX and Unix instead of Windows and DOS can be fairly challenging.
