For those of you that were going to buy a Macbook soon, these are good news. For those of you who already have… I guess you just had bad luck, if you bought it very recently.

The new Macbooks all come with better processors. The cheapest model now comes with a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the later two come with a 2.16 GHz one.

The RAM of the machines was also upgraded. Let’s face it, running Tiger with only 512Mb is a bit slow, so this is one upgrade that should have been made earlier.

As for the disk capacities, the 3 models now come with an 80GB, 120GB and 160GB SATA HDDs respectively, that spin at 5400 rpm.

In my honest opinion, I think that the black Macbook look like an even worse offer now, although, I would probably still buy one just for the color.
