I don’t really know what to say about this. Apparently, Zoom Systems is putting some of these machines around America in Hotels and Airports (I guess, because those are the places that are less likely to be robbed). However, I don’t think I’d be able to lay out $300 on a vending machine. God knows how many times I’ve lost my afternoon snacks due to them.

3Or maybe from a PC Laptop. The world doesn’t revolve around Apple… yet.

4I think that most users should agree that with the experience we’ve gained from seeing the world “revolving” around Microsoft we don’t want any company to dominate almost everything.
Competition is always healthy for the market and users.

5I hate to spoil everyone’s fun, but I couldn’t spot an ipod in the vending machine: Just ipod accessories. They’re still more expensive than regular vending machine fare–but they cost tens, not hundreds. Look at photomann dot com under japan/machines: This is just an addition of the funky products they sell on vending machines over there

10Yay, w00t for the cops, now they’ll ahve more thieves to lock up, and the government gets to pay out more in damages, woohoo…not. I feel sorry for the police force and the govenrment in that country…
I heard that somewhere you cna buy shoes in vneding machines, but that is actually a good idea for out on hiking trials or in Rundle Mall, especially for stupid people like me who wear heels when we know we’re going to be doing some serious walking…this is just going oveboard.
Then again, woh knows? We alreayd get drinks, food, clothes and shoes from vending machines…who’s to say in the future we won’t be able to buy everything from vending machines?
I personally think a mobile phone acessory vending machine is a good idea, especially for those of s who ten dto break cases/lose their keypads but keep the case. Or even having mobile phone chargers around big shopping centers…do you know how ANNOYING it is to have your phone die right as you’re making a call? And plus phones are a necessity…iPods are not.
But on the upside, vending machines are harder to break into/steal from than a store, even one with security cameras and guards and locks and all that skit.
But I’m going to side with msot of yas and say that this is just a ittle bit much, hey?

11He,he. iPod vending machines! That is so hilarious. What?…Do they think there actually going to get some money from that? Well, maybe. What will they think up next? A little cart you ride around in and plug up your iPod and cellphone, laptop, camra, all that stuff and you ride around new york.haha. outrageous.

12I actually saw one in a department store yesterday for the first time. And other than the fact that I was shocked that these existed, I was surprised to find a 30 gig for less than where I was seeing everywhere else. It was only $260 or $269 in comparison to the $280-$300 I’ve been looking to pay for one.
Weird, but if I can get it cheaper, I’ll do it.
