I found this thanks to one of the Bloggy Network blogs, LifeSpy, it is a list of computer skills that are dying or have died off. For me, this list really comes close to home, as my cousin recently finished learning Cobol, a computer language still used by the health system here in Canada.
The list comes from Computerworld, and you can read the full details behind each item on their site. Do you think any other skills should be added to that list or have they included something that you don’t think is dying or dead. Let me know.

Direttamente da Computerworld la top ten degli skill informatici ormai morti o moribondi in quanto poco ricercati nelle proposte di lavoro e poco presenti nei curricula degli studi universitari.
* Cobol
* DBMS non relazionali
* Reti Locali …

3yeah, I can program in C… well… kinda. I had lots of programming assignments in C, whether they were done well or not is another story. I got As, though only because of the curve. Pointer to a pointer to a struct *head spins*. *shrugs* maybe it’s a girl thing.

5I disagree with Network Administrators. As much as Microsoft, or anyone else, can try to brag how easy they are to setup and manage, it is one of those positions which I think will never fade.
In my University we have a computer course just for network administrators, and most of them always land a job, even though we live on a very small island.
