Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) have created a way in which to transfer data between people and electronic devices. The technology uses transceivers called RedTaction to create a safe network transmission path, which in turn creates a HAN (Human Area Network). The technology isn’t slow either, it is able to transfer at 2Mbps. HAN is ready to ship for next year and will probably revolutionize the way you can transfer files. Imagine going to work and touching a pole, allowing you to receive all the files that you need to work on for the day. Or imagine going to your friend’s house, and transfering all their songs to your iPod. There are a lot of areas where this technology can be used, it should be exciting.
