You know, it’s hard to even begin to write a review for this movie.
Let me start by saying that I am aware of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force show on Adult Swim, but I have never sat down and watched an entire episode of the series. I have friends that love it, and I have heard that it was “insanely funny”…but I just never took time to watch it. I like a lot of what Adult Swim has been producing, but not everything on the network is exactly my taste.
Having said that, I have to say, this movie delivers a crapload of funny.
I can’t tell you what the plot of this movie is, because I’m just not sure what I watched. I know it was funny. I know I laughed my ass off more than once, and I left the theater having enjoyed the movie…
The plot loosely revolves around a piece of gym equipment that can somehow destroy the world, but then it doesn’t, and there is a mad scientist who’s lab is being converted to loft apartments…and…ah…I give up.
If you have to have a plot for this thing, you probably shouldn’t go see it. If you’re going to walk out of the theatre and say “that didn’t make sense” then don’t go. It’s not going to make sense. I do not believe that the creators of this film intended it to make sense. It’s just an hour and a half of one-liner after one-liner, that really never gets too boring.
If you like the show, I assume you’re going to enjoy the hell out of the movie…but even if you don’t have a clue as to what the show is about, if you’re willing to sit in the theater, turn your brain off, and just laugh at the jokes, you should have a good time at Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters.

3I am a die hard fan of Aqua Teen (I’ve seen every episode at least twice) however, no matter how hardcore of a fan you are nothing can prepare you for this movie. IT IS INSANE, even less coherent than a regular episode. It takes a while for your mind to process the 87 minutes of non-sequitors. Looking back, i still can’t remember exactly what i watched. If you enjoy Aqua Teen you will love this movie.

4ok im also a die hard aqua teen fan by far my favorite show… own all the seasons, u know.. i saw the movie on the first day it came out expecting to laugh my f****** ass off, but sadly it wasnt as good as i had hoped. i mean they hung carl probly the funniest of the charactors out to dry he probly had 1 or 3 or 4 funny coments in the movie. ex. the pants scene and the door held shut by the flyers other than that he was just strapped to the machine, anyway the story was ok, also cybernetic ghost from christmas past’s voice was to robotic in this movie…. yd they change it? , i could barely understand him in some parts.
anywho i still love the show, ima see the movie again with my friends, itl probly grow on me

6Well, I had to drive 3 hours to see it, but I did.
AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!!
I am a HUGE fan of the show…but even if I wasn’t and somehow ended up in front of that bigscreen I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I would’ve laughed just as hard.
I am hoping that due to the positive response that this movie will open up in Canada VERY soon. I wanna see it again and don’t feel like spending 40 bucks on gas and 9 bucks for the ticket price.
Word to the wise, if it’s playing in your area, SEE IT
SEE EE E E EEEEEEEEEE IT
Even the INTRO will have you laughing
