Honestly, who would’ve thought there was an actual demand for a new Biker Mice from Mars cartoon? Well, you can check out the opening sequence right here. The animation looks “okay”; the cel-shaded CGI bikes are a bit obvious, but they still look good. For a look at some of the animation and voice acting for the villains in the show-itself, you can watch this video. However, it only has footage of the new villains and none of the Biker Mice. You can catch Clancy Brown and Rob Paulson in there, and they’re two of the most talented voice actors in the industry. And solely for the sake of early 90’s nostalgia, here’s the original show’s opening sequence.
The new Biker Mice from Mars is scheduled to premier in the UK on August 26th with a subsequent United States release in Spring of 2007. All 10 Bike Mice fans should be excited.

1to bad it seems they totally botched this attempt. Its really sad to see the decline in saturday morning cartoons…from he-man to spider riders? WTF?

2Basically 60% of all pop songs are covers or use tracks from old songs and people buy them. So why is making a second “season” of this cartoon any worse than those?
I’m not a Biker Mice from Mars fan, far from it. But I find it awkward that people can accept the senseless gibberish that comes from some second seasons in some series, after the story should be finished and dead, but can’t handle it if it’s a cartoon or fiction.
Another recent example of this was the latest Superman film…
I think the reviews speak for myself, but in short:
“Everyone was expecting more”

3No need to get so defensive, man. I don’t recall insulting the show. I just think a new Biker Mice series came right out of left field, as I don’t recall it ever being that popular even when it was new back in the 90’s. I remember it being on early in the morning, right before the Marvel Action Hour, and I never saw much merchandise for it. A Biker Mice resurrgence just took me by surprise is all.

4Sounds like we may have an American viewpoint here “I don’t recall it ever being that popular”.
It was a major hit in the rest of the world, and was one of the biggest shows of all time in Germany, France, The UK, Italy, Scandinavia, Finland, Eastern Europe & Australia plus Canada. Even in America it was the number one show in syndication in Season 1.
Toy of The Year UK, Italy France in 1994 and in a number of European countries the biggest selling toy line of all time.
To this day it is debatable whether any Americans outside the production team actually spotted the satirical references.

5Damn. That is a surprise. It’s typically regarded as an animation footnote here in the States, with many just remembering it as “that Ninja Turtle wannabe with the mice”, kinda down there with Street Sharks and Cowboys of Moo Mesa.
So I guess that’s why its premiering in the UK first.

6It is big in all sorts of places you wouldn’t expect. Russia is huge as is Finland - but then they are still a bit Heavy Metal.
Take a look on YouTube and the like, you’ll see places like Chile & Columbia coming up. It is a very different big world in 2006 from what it was in 1993/4.

7I used to love Biker Mice when I was a kid, and I still love the original series. It was very popular here in Finland. But this new series… I saw the brothers’ designs on the official site and to be honest, they suck. Very much. Makes me kinda sad.

12I’m BMices old fan and it’s glad to hear that something new is coming out. Unfortunately, in my country bikermices are declined in TV because it’s too violent. I dont think so.

20I loved the old 90’s tv show and was so exited to hear that there was going to be a remake. However, having watched the new series I admit I am so very dissapointed.
I like the fact that the mice have lost those ridiculous muscles, but the rest of the animation is horrible. They wrecked Throttle’s Bike. Modo looks like a rat. Carbine and Vinnie and Charley are the only decent ones in the whole show.
The Plot is just stupid and Modo has been turned into Inspector Gadget.
However, the script is just wonderful. And it keeps me watching. Its’ really funny, full of irony and satire. Hairbball is a great original character and Richard Bran-Something has an AI scarf (it flaps about even when there is no wind inside a building).
I just can’t wait until they bring the old series out on DVD.

21I loved watching the “Biker Mice from Mars” when I was a kid. Here, it was the “Power Rangers” that took over their spot. I still hate that show. I wound up purchasing the 1st season on VHS and can’t wait to be able to get it on DVD. I loved the old series. After reading so many different comments on the “New Biker Mice from Mars”, it makes me wonder if I want to even try to watch it once it gets to the U.S., in fear that I will be so severely disappointed in it. I have already seen some of the pics from it, and already saddened, especially with the bikes.

22The trailer looked just gay, show looks like it won’t even last 5 episodes, and the only cool thing about them is their old Konami SNES game.
