With all the interest in movies based on video games, it looks like there is a Splinter Cell movie in the works.
DreamWorks is close to acquiring the film rights to Tom Clancy’s videogame Splinter Cell, with Daniel Pyne (The Manchurian Candidate) attached to write the script, says Variety.
The studio would take the project over from Paramount, where it was originally set up last winter. Michael Ovitz, Clancy’s longtime manager, is still producing.
Who would you get to play Sam Fisher?

2There’s actually a Teaser Trailer for this movie on the Chaos Theory game, in Extras. (Don’t go out to buy it just to see the teaser, you’re not missing anything).
August 27th, 2005 at 5:49 am
3Harrison Ford
August 28th, 2005 at 5:38 pm
4Collin Farrell
August 28th, 2005 at 9:25 pm
5personally i think Michael Ironside (the voice of Sam Fisher in the games) could put an interesting, but admittedly older Sam Fisher for the movie….but i highly doubt they’d go with an interesting story over “some young hunk with lots of explosions everywhere” and i’m not gonna lie, i’ll probably like it lol…but still would be nice to see some ACTING or STORY in a videogame based movie these days.
August 28th, 2005 at 11:14 pm
6oh please guys first of all collin farrell is a dork and kinda a pansy harrison ford is to old you need a mans man for this role so i say cole hauser just watch tears of the sun and paparazzi youll understand where im commin from
August 30th, 2005 at 10:30 am
7Thomas Jane from the Punisher would be cool, or even Jason Statham with hair, without Brit accent.
September 1st, 2005 at 3:54 pm
8I think you should get the guy that played in the Punisher.
September 3rd, 2005 at 8:02 am

September 3rd, 2005 at 8:14 am
10Michael Ironside’s voice WAS AWSOME for Sam Fisher in the game but personally i think George Clooney shold do the part for the movie, his appearance is much like Sam’s and for those who do not know who George Clooney is LOOK ON GOOGLE NOW!….who doesnt know who G. Clooney is man??!?!
September 3rd, 2005 at 4:46 pm
11Get REAL!
Michael Ironside by far!!!
His performance in the games, and on film have been an obvious choice.
If he doesnt get the part, the it will shootdown the hearts of most of the fans of the game and story behind it all.
His voice and personality is purely all his own. you CANNOT replace that!
the movie will undoubtedly flop if they choose otherwise.
and i would put money on that.
September 5th, 2005 at 7:24 am
12It has to be GEORGE CLOONEY!!! I heard Sam was based on him for the game, get George to smoke 100 cigaretts a day and the voice is sorted! I would refuse to see the film if he wasn’t Sam………..it just wouldn’t be right!!!
September 5th, 2005 at 7:54 pm
13I wonder if anyone thought of Eric Bana. (black hawk down), ( troy).
September 10th, 2005 at 8:50 am
14Two bad Michael Ironside’s bald. With green eye lend and a slick hearcut he would have made a great job in the movie.excuse my english
September 11th, 2005 at 4:18 am
15matt damon has had the experience he needs from the bourne films, he would be an amazing sam fisher. He also looks the most like him - how will george clooney ever look like sam fisher?
September 15th, 2005 at 5:47 am
16omg jim matt damon is like 12… no, but he is and definetly looks to young to play fischer…
micheal ironside would work just fine, I think George Clooney would be a good choice as well… but seriously cole hauser, he could like play the tech guy or something… not sam… collin farrel is nice but not as sam… eric bana could work but still, micheal or george definetly
September 15th, 2005 at 1:26 pm
17TOM JANE FROM “THE PUNISHER” ISNT A BAD IDEA, NOR COLE HAUSER ( HES ALSO IN 2 FAST AND 2 FURIOUS)…2 REALLY GOOD CANDIDATES. MICHAEL IRONSIDE IS GERIATRIC AT THIS POINT, HOWEVER HIS VOICE WAS PERFECT FOR SAM, COLLIN FERRELL SUCKS, GEORGE CLOONEY WOULDNT BE MY FIRST CHOICE. MATT DAMON PROB WOULDNT DO ANOTHER SPY SERIES
September 16th, 2005 at 2:10 am
18I think Richard Burgi looks exactly like sam fisher in the movie “starship troopers 2 hero of the federation.” Richard gets my vote!
September 23rd, 2005 at 2:29 pm
19George Clooney is the man !!!! no discussion
September 24th, 2005 at 9:14 pm
20i’d have an actor play him that looks good, but voice over with the voice from the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 25th, 2005 at 3:39 pm
21Matt Damon?…Eric Bana?… Colin ferrel?..
This movie is suppoed to be a good one not a piece of crap. I can agree with Clooney cuz of the looks and with Ironside for the voice,
but damon?, and ferrell? Good god I hope they don’t bury this movie befor it’s even begun.
September 25th, 2005 at 3:40 pm
22Dispute me. I dare you!
September 26th, 2005 at 9:38 pm
23Colin Farell - Too young
Michael Ironside, Jason Statham - eh, maybe
George Clooney = PERFECT
The resemblance is uncanny!
September 27th, 2005 at 10:16 pm
24Tom berremger
September 30th, 2005 at 12:46 am
25Clooney? come on now. the movie is about a spy, not a bobble head. not to mention a seasoned war hero old enough to have a daughter 18 to 20 years old. SO, we need get these yunger actors out of the discussion. My 1st choice is still Richard Burgi. I also think Tom Barrenger would be good. Bruce Willis could pull it off too. any thoughts?
October 4th, 2005 at 12:53 am
26If you haven’t seen a picture of Richard Burgi you should. He would make a great Sam.
October 10th, 2005 at 3:36 pm
27no doubt, HENRY ROLLINS.
October 18th, 2005 at 11:38 am
28Henry Rollins couldn’t act his way out of a wet paper sack!
Michael Ironside should play Sam Fisher
October 18th, 2005 at 9:46 pm
29Coal Hauser is defenitly fits as sam fisher. And where the hell r u guys thinking about, george cloony,WTF!!!!!!!!!
October 18th, 2005 at 9:51 pm
30Maybe Matt Damon. He is definetly one of my first choices, or someone in middle age with a twisted sense of humor.
October 20th, 2005 at 7:48 pm
31GEORGE CLOONEY - SMARMY GET
COLIN FARELL - OVERACTOR
MATT DAMON - 12 YEAR OLD
MICHEAL IRONSIDE - BALD!
THOMAS JANE - PERFECT, HE IS A MEAN ASS MOFO, TERRORIST KILLING KILLER LOL
TAKE A LOOK!

AS MEAN AS THEY COME
October 23rd, 2005 at 10:33 pm
October 25th, 2005 at 12:48 pm
33I thought that Eric Roberts might be a good candidate. His voice is ‘gravelly’ and he has that strong-but-silent look.
December 28th, 2005 at 3:13 pm
34CHRISTOPHER MELONI from Law and Order SVU would be good as Sam. He has that bad ass look as you need for Sam. Clooney looks like him, however I do not think he would make a good fisher. The Sam Fisher Character should remain true to the game so forget the young actors.
January 13th, 2006 at 7:01 pm
35Forget you punks, Kurt Douglas is playing Sam, its already been decided, Kurt Douglas, Kurt Douglas, Say it with me, Kurt Douglas. He might lack some key similarities, but there is no better action hero than Kurt Douglas. Remember Big Trouble in LIttle China? Remember Escape from Newyork? Remember Overboard!!! Kurt Douglas is my hero and Sam Fischer is the kind of witty all-american anti-hero that Kurt Douglas was born (and destined) to portray.
January 15th, 2006 at 1:10 am
36I personally think Bruce Willis is the perfect ‘Sam Fisher’. Did you see ” Tears of the Sun ” ??
Rough voice , slight greying , deep facial lines … perfect .
January 26th, 2006 at 3:06 pm
37Im a father of a 13 year old Splinter Cell Freak. My son and I were watching TV. and we saw a clip of George Clooney in a suit with his salt and pepper hair, and we both said at the same time,”Hey! that looks like Sam Fischer on Splinter Cell.” So with my commit and all the other commits that support the fact, George Clooney should be the choice for the role of Sam Fischer.
January 27th, 2006 at 11:48 pm
38Bruce Willis…older, scruffy look, and your used to seeing him kick some ass, I can’t believe so few people suggest him, Clooney’s a fag and couldn’t kill someone if his life depended on it, watching him play in an action role in a previous movie such as Batman made me cry. Bruce Willis is the man, bad ass guy from tears of the son, and the same guy who does a redneck and a dirty cop in with a Samurai sword in Pulp Fiction, that’s the guy who should be Sam
February 5th, 2006 at 2:25 pm
39To be honest I cannot choose between Clooney and Willis. Don’t even bother to give me reasons to chose one or the other. I just believe they both resemble Fisher quite well. But if I really had to pick one or the other-It would be Clooney. With the current Bruce Willis, he is better off playing as the Sam Fisher for Double Agent.
February 10th, 2006 at 11:28 am
40my votes for andy milonokis
February 16th, 2006 at 1:19 pm
41CG movie…than there’s nothing to worry about. They can just use the original voices.
February 19th, 2006 at 3:25 am
42An older action hero like Sam Fisher….It would definately have to be Bruce Willis!!! I mean come on…diehard!!!!
February 19th, 2006 at 3:45 am
43Ihave to agree with joseph ^ Bruce willis would be my first. But thomas jane is a bad ass!……..but the best Lambert would definately be Morgan Freeman, or Samuel L. Jackson!!!!!!!!!
February 22nd, 2006 at 9:25 pm
44i thin\k Clooney would be the ultimate best, he is a great actor, a respected actor and most importantly…looks like sam fisher… copy this into your address bar… it will prove it.

March 5th, 2006 at 12:34 am
45Collin Farrel dosent have enough experience in acting to be “The Sam Fisher” I say either George clooney or Eric Banna. Tom Jane is too tense to play a guy as cool as Sam Fisher. Eric and George are both really cool and laid back.
March 6th, 2006 at 5:44 pm
46The guy from the movie “The Transporter”
should be sam. only problem is that he isn’t that old.
March 15th, 2006 at 9:58 pm
47Problem with Clooney is that while he looks the part, he doesn’t have the political cred. Just about everything he’s done has bashed everything Sam stands for and does. Good choice physically bad choice politically.
March 18th, 2006 at 11:14 pm
48Michael Jackson
March 19th, 2006 at 4:50 pm
49i think pierce brosnan would make an awesome sam fischer! what do u guys think?
March 19th, 2006 at 11:41 pm
50I’m actually torn between El Clooney and Richard Burgi. But Burgi has just the right age to play Sam (he’s 47 or 48), has the action movie experience and isn’t bad on the eyes either. So does anyone have any information if anyone has actually signed to play Sam Fisher? This is one of the times that I wish Michael Ironside was a bit younger so he could play Sam.
March 19th, 2006 at 11:45 pm
51Sorry about posting twice but I also agree they should make an animated movie. To be honest, I’d rather see the CGI version of Sam (which I’ve grown to love) than watching a movie that makes a horrible casting choice. For instance…hey Ron Howard, why oh why did you cast your buddy Tom Hanks in the Da Vinci Code?? I love Tom but he’s not an action guy. Ok, I’ve said my peace.

53neil diamond Keyword doesn’t matter
April 2nd, 2006 at 11:17 am
54you guys are not thinking you need some one who would be fit enough to preform all the stunts they do in the game god you lot dont think do you
April 6th, 2006 at 9:53 pm
55i think kief sutherlan( jack bouwer from “24″ would be a good choice. i mean, just watch 24, hes pretty tough.
April 8th, 2006 at 8:37 pm
56Richard Burgi looks exactly like sam.
April 8th, 2006 at 8:40 pm
57i was thinkin bout peirce brosnan, but he’s too pretty man,i mean ask fisher how many times he had a glass of vodca with a babe in the middle of a game. Richard Burgi is my choice
April 10th, 2006 at 11:03 pm
58u are all not that smart i think my father whould be a alright sam fisher. he has a alright body built and he has the age the voice coulod be worked on
April 14th, 2006 at 5:14 pm
59Why dont they follow the damned story and just make a CGI movie? If it’s the game that’s interesting and the Cinema screens in between the levels in the game that people like, than why isn’t that what they give the people? I just read Splinter Cell: Operation Barracudda and I couldn’t picture anyone elses voice for Sam Fisher than Micheal Ironside.
April 17th, 2006 at 12:39 am
60For Lambert that should get that guy who plays David Palmer (president) on the Fox series 24.
April 18th, 2006 at 3:54 pm
61to the above message, its kurt russel you fool not kurt douglas who by the way is about 90. as for russel, well………no! on the part of lambert, i agree with morgan freeman or samuel jackson. on the part of sam, they should have george clooney or tom jane but with mike ironside doing the voice. by the way, who the hell said michael jackson!!
P.S who ever votes for tom cruise, must die!!!!
April 19th, 2006 at 11:59 pm
62Michael Ironside.
April 20th, 2006 at 8:12 am
63I think Eddie Murphy for Fisher = Excellent, Michael Jackson for Anna Grimmsdotter = Perfect and Tony Hawk for Hugo Lacerda = Just right!
April 22nd, 2006 at 11:57 am
64well, i think Bruce Willis would be a good Sam Fisher. Jason Statham would do nicely too. I have to agree that Clooney wouldn’t be too bad, but Ironside… you must be joking. He’s too old!
April 27th, 2006 at 12:43 am
65Go look at the desperate Housewives and see the character played by Mike Delfino, that guy was born to play Sam Fisher.
April 28th, 2006 at 8:26 am
66Mike Delfino? i don’t think so…
May 5th, 2006 at 12:34 am
67They better find the perfect rugged guy soon, they’re all getting really old.
May 6th, 2006 at 9:34 pm
68how about Jason Statham hes very fit and would b able to do all the physical stunts and right age to play sam fisher and could pull of the looks all needs is a strong american accent btw Jason Statham is actor who played Frank in The Transporter
May 6th, 2006 at 9:36 pm
69Me and ed no how to think Jason Statham is best choice
May 6th, 2006 at 9:42 pm
70reply from devil dog splintercell opiration baracuda is a good book and yea they should have micheal ironside do voice over for samfisher i mean he is who made sam fisher that or they should make a reli good animated film like final fantasy graphics and make that as a film and just have the orignal char voice overs
May 16th, 2006 at 5:20 pm
71Hey, I think TIm Matheson is the spit of Sam Fisher. DOnt you think?
May 18th, 2006 at 10:51 pm
72i think that John Travolta should play Sam Fisher. Befor you get all like “WHY HIM!?” think. hes the proper age. He can do a very good job of acting like a secret agent (BASIC is a good movie to watch and learn from) and he kinda has the same attitude as Sam dose in the Game
May 18th, 2006 at 10:54 pm
73and they should get Samual L Jakson to be lambert. Just because of how big of a smart-ass he can be.
May 22nd, 2006 at 6:58 pm
74I think they should get me to play Fisher. I am one mean looking dude and have a rumbling voice. :)
May 31st, 2006 at 7:19 am
75i should play sam fisher!!
June 8th, 2006 at 6:08 pm
76Whatever who being Fisher, the problem is who want’s to be Suhadi Sadono. He is the most powerfull terrorist that made the world change. Must be an Accurate character just like Che may be….
June 9th, 2006 at 2:39 am
77i think james earl jones could be be lambert(voice of darth vador and the coach on best of the best)or maybe chi mcbride ( gone in 60 seconds boston public waiting) grim should be played by possibly racheal weiz(enemy at the gates)fisher could be viggo mortensen (gi jane, history of violence he already have hand to hand and basic weapon skills) or maybe russel crow (gladiator) maybe ed harris (enemy at the gates and a history of violence) if youve ever seen top gun the the instructor whos call sign was viper hed be great
June 9th, 2006 at 9:30 pm
78George clooney definatly. they are twins by the way i asked him. mat d. would never fit the the part of sam fisher he’s too young and one of the main parts of fisher is his age. maybe yall didnt know this but he has been workin for the military or 29 yeas baking him atleast 40. no one else would work exeept for goeorge cloony. i think i would know this by the way cause im pretty sure i would know who to use bein that i am a navy seal and that was fisher’s job before he became a splintercell
June 9th, 2006 at 9:32 pm
79i ment 20 years and making him 40 not baking him.
June 18th, 2006 at 10:28 pm
80Mel Gibson
Bruce Willis
George Clooney
June 19th, 2006 at 6:03 pm
81George Clooney
June 27th, 2006 at 3:18 am
82Richard Dean Anderson would be a good pick, right age, good delivery of the lines and he can act. George Clooney are you for real?! As for the shake and bake SEAL I’m not buying it you cant type and the Navy is going to trust you to save the world.
July 9th, 2006 at 12:14 pm
83I think that dominic purcell (prison break) could play sam fisher. he has the build and the voice. shaven head dominic in prision break is similar to shaven headed sam fisher in the upcoming splinter double agent. it wouldn’t take much make up to add a few years to him.
Bruce Willis come on people sam needs hair.
July 18th, 2006 at 7:21 am
84Michael Ironside looks NOTHING like Fisher tbh. Clooney would be much better for the role. But people like Matt and Colin? ERIC??? Don’t kid me. There’s a fine line between choosing someone for a movie role and just being a drooling fanboy.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:28 pm
85http://www.askmen.com/men/entertainment_60/pictures_60/folder_1/george_clooney/george_clooney_150.jpg
thats that
or thomas jane, i like him too
July 26th, 2006 at 2:10 pm
86Thomas Jane! Hell why not just have fucking david tennant!! Listen peens!! michael ironside as the voice of sam and some one else can act, george is a good possibility. but the wankers who will choose casting probably wont listen to what any of us want anyway. it’ll be awasum if cloons was to play sam. just pray they listen to what the fans want to see!!!!!!
P.S i agree with that guy above…..tom cruise must die!!!
July 31st, 2006 at 7:16 pm
87It must be George Clooney. He looks just like Sam Fisher from the game, he is just good age, his voice is almost identical and his caracter is perfect to play a spy. All others would be to much like something else and that movie wouldn’t even remind on splinetr cell.
August 6th, 2006 at 4:56 pm
88I think George Clooney is the man. He has the looks, accent and the moves. The film wouldn’t be right without him. He will fit into the movie perfectly. Bruce Willis, No chance, Michael Ironside, definately not. So please let it be George Clooney.
August 8th, 2006 at 4:30 pm
89hi at all, i would like george clooney to play sam fisher in the movie.
September 3rd, 2006 at 9:23 am
90yeah George Clooney looks like fisher but he dosen’t have the right personality of sam or the darkness that sam has and Ironside and Bruce Willis don’t look anything like sam but Thomas Jane from the THE PUNISHER seems to look a young sam and have that same dark parsonality
September 3rd, 2006 at 9:24 am
91yeah George Clooney looks like fisher but he dosen’t have the right personality of sam or the darkness that sam has and Ironside and Bruce Willis don’t look anything like sam but Thomas Jane from the THE PUNISHER seems to look a young sam and have that same dark parsonality

94George Clooney:D
Certainly George Clooney!
September 18th, 2006 at 4:04 am
95Not sure who should play Sam but I think an all CG movie like this would be a big mistake.. I do not want to see an hour and a half to two hour game that I can not play..
September 20th, 2006 at 7:45 pm
96The absolute perfect person to play sam fisher in the movie would be Liev Schreiber if u dont know who this is I suggest u take a look at some of his past movie’s, The omen,
The Manchurian Candidate (whos writter is ironocally tied to the sc movie). I especially recommend checking out his performance in Tom Clancy’s Sum of all Fears
in which he plays a splinter cell. He gets my vote
September 22nd, 2006 at 1:08 pm
97Wtf are some guys talking about? If I want to see sam fisher, I’d go for looks anytime, George clooney looks just like him! As well as Bruce willis. They both have unique resemblance to Sam Fisher. It’s up to dreamworks to decide though. I can already imagine on of them wearing night goggles, It’s about time a good stealth-action movie hits the cinemas, Yays for SC !
September 23rd, 2006 at 9:52 pm
98Michael Ironside could do the voice, and thats where make up, wigs, Special effects, and maybe even fake mustaches come in! I mean, Come On! We live in a technologically advanced world! We can make an old guy look like a… less older guy. To agree with a guy above, his voice practically made sam fisher. His voice is AWESOME! Maybe, just maybe, sam can be George Clooney, but still with Mike’s voice. If all else fails, just use CGI!!!! Now, if you’ll excuse me, i have to get back to stabbing people with my newly aquired knife.(In Splinter Cell, not in real life ok)
P.S. Whoever said Eddie Murphy should be Sam is a color blind hippie that should roll over and die. See if I care. BURN WITH THE DEVIL YOU FIENDISH HIPPIE!!! BURN!!! BURN!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! HA! HAHA! (cough) HAHAHAHHAHAHA!! Ok, I think I made my point. Remember… BURN!!!!! (with the devil) but before that can happen… DIE!!!!! Splinter Cell 4ever!!! (don’t be discouraged, keep making those games Ubisoft) As for the movie, just don’t ruin the awesome game we’ve all come to know and love. Make it good or don’t make it at all!
September 23rd, 2006 at 9:58 pm
99Oh, and for people who don’t belive my identity, I love eggrolls!!! Splinter Cell Rocks!!! And by the way, Michael Jackson would make the most horrible Grim! What were you thinking?!?!?!??!?!
October 1st, 2006 at 3:47 pm
100I read a preview of the script, and it looks like the movie will take place right after Sam’s wife dies and his daughter is only 13 or so, So the acter wouldnt have to be that old.
October 2nd, 2006 at 3:54 am
101Kenya Tanzania Safaris,Lodge Safaris Kenya,Kenya Camping Tours, Incentive Group Safaris, weddings and honeymoon, Hotels, Car Hire and Mountain Climbing.
October 3rd, 2006 at 3:43 pm
102michael Ironside is Sam Fisher!! Thousands of fans will be dissappointed if they don’t hear his voice behind that google. Give him a hair piece, dye his sides grey, a couple of sit ups and voila!! Sam Fisher is over sixty years old. Clooney has the look also with the grey, but I don’t think he can scare anyone by sneaking up from the shadows. Just look at Batman and Robin!!! Ironside all the way!!!!!!
October 3rd, 2006 at 3:47 pm
103I think fans will give out a scream and shout when they hear that first voice of Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher in the trailer. It’ll be a relieving surprise!!! Michael Ironside for Sam!!!!!!!
October 4th, 2006 at 1:46 am
104George Clooney is an old drunk, Bruce Wilis is too bald and again old. The Punisher guy another mistake and Transporter is just short and English. Someone else said it in the list and I’ll say it again. Dominic Purcell from Prison Break is a must cast cadidate. Not a nobody actor either that would ruin the bigness of such a picture. He is more Sam Fisher than anyone suggested yet. Watch the show or see his photo. That’s our man hands down.
October 6th, 2006 at 2:51 am
105I really think Mickey Rourke could play Sam Fisher, although At one time,I thought Kurt Russell could do it also. But i think Mickey would do an awesome job.Vote Mickey Rourke for Sam Fisher!
October 23rd, 2006 at 6:34 pm
106The guy from the transporter, his names jason something…. he looks and acts like the perfect sam
October 24th, 2006 at 4:28 pm
107i would like michel ironside
October 28th, 2006 at 2:18 pm
108Bruce willis should defitnely play sam fisher he looks just like sam fisher in the game with a shavd head
October 28th, 2006 at 2:26 pm
109First of all of course bruce willis is old n so is sam fisher so they have the best resemblance and if tom clancy deperatly needs a good choice he would go with bruce willis because he would love to be apart of somthin great like this. So Bruce willis is the man n whoever said george clooney should do it is retarded they look nothin like sam fisher. BRUCE WILLIS ALL THE WAY.

110Bruce Willis or thomas Jane but i would really go with bruce willis

111George clooney is the perfect choice. have you seen him in “three kings” ?
November 14th, 2006 at 9:50 am
112pierce brosnan -maybe an ok choice for sam ,but really it’s probably gonna be either bruce willis or clooney.
the perfect actor to play lambert is the uncle from ‘fresh prince of bel air’
another thought, has any one considered the guy who plays the lead in ncis?

116G.Clooney

117George CLOONEY

118helo! what about Sean Bean or Denis Quaid, estos dos, pienso que quedarian super bien chequeenlos para que vean
November 25th, 2006 at 4:41 am
119Daniel Craig he looks like him he acts like him hes the guy to play him. He plays in the new 007 movie.
November 30th, 2006 at 4:50 pm
120I think RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON should play it
has the hair he`s old and he`s an action actor
December 10th, 2006 at 6:32 pm
121Jason Statham or Russell Crowe would be excellent choices for Sam Fisher. These two have very awesome fight scenes in their movies. Also, Matt Damon’s “Jason Bourne” is an ass-kicker in his own right…..
December 10th, 2006 at 6:51 pm
122What the hell are we giving our 2 cents about who should play Sam Fisher anyways. Like the powers that be would EVER, EVER, EVER listen to us humble movie-nuts. We make these studios what they are, yet they Never honestly and sincerely ask us who we’d like to see in this soon to be blockbuster flick that will blow it’s competition out of the water. This board is for us only, but what thw hell. Clive Owen, Keifer Sutherland or Colin Farrell would be great choices as well….
December 13th, 2006 at 6:27 pm
123Michael Ironside, Matt Damon or Bruce Willis
December 14th, 2006 at 3:01 pm
124George Clooney looks like fisher but he dosen’t have the right personality of sam or the darkness that sam has and Ironside and Bruce Willis don’t look anything like sam but Thomas Jane from the THE PUNISHER seems to look a young sam and have that same dark parsonality

127george cloony= sam
morgan freeman= lambert
cole hauser= redding (the tech guy)
chick with black hair from c.s.i.= grim
January 13th, 2007 at 9:30 pm
128Ok, Gorge Cloony, NO, Matt Damon, NO, and Guy From Transporter, Maybe, Michael Ironside YES!!!!! Have you seen how much he looks like sam, well if he grew hair, but thats easy. In the game, they base the voice of the char on how the char looks, so i hope they make the right choice and choose Mike Iron!
I LOVE SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGeNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 14th, 2007 at 3:12 pm
129Michal Ironside= Sam Fisher
Jason Statham(transporter)=Douglas shetland And i agree Morgan Freeman=labert
And I dont really care, but i agree C.S.I person should be Anna Grimsotter
January 18th, 2007 at 1:51 pm
130I would like michal ironside to play sam, but aint he little over the hill. i was kinda of thinking of micky rouke, you know, the guy that palyed in sin city as merv, hes not to old and not to young hes just about right in age, and his voice is close to. and i think morgan freeman would be a perfect lambert.
January 22nd, 2007 at 1:06 pm
131I think Jason Statham is the best choice ever. He looks absolutely like my favorit Sam:-) George Cloony is possible as well but Jason has better body and “style”;-) I love voice of Michal Ironside but he is really too old (maybe good for role of Lambert)
January 26th, 2007 at 12:35 am
132Peter Berg director of the movie says “I’m keen to mold a good actor into a hunky action star, rather than simply pluck someone renowned for action movies out and place him in the lead role”. Still, Berg says it’s too early to decide who should play the role. He does like one guy in particular though - Mark Wahlberg he seems to hint at. “In terms of the accuracy of the book” - “Next week I’m going to DC to talk with Tom Clancy and Porter Goss, the new head of the CIA. [It’s] very exciting”.

133Jason Statham (transporter dude) is the best choice proof of this is in the movie crank, and the latest splinter cell game Sam and statham are almost identical. Clooney would be my second choice I beleve he could pull it off as far as voice. Lambert should be played by Dennis haysbert(The unit).

134michael ironside did the mocap for sam fisher and the voice, the face they made up on their own, michael ironside is perfect, just shave the hairs off the sides of his head, and he is sam fisher in the flesh
March 5th, 2007 at 9:21 pm
135michael ironside also knows sam fisher inside as if it were his brother, he knows his personality, his attitude, sam fisher is an old man just like ironside. give an old guy a chance to shine one last time………
March 6th, 2007 at 11:38 pm
136dudes, tom jane would definately work. george clooney??? might as well not make the movie if you recruit him, sure he may look like him but looks are waaay more important this time. tom jane just kicks ass!!! the age thing may be a bit of an issue, but honestly, he’s the best guy for the job
March 11th, 2007 at 4:18 pm
137i think that bruce willis should play fisher he has the look for it
March 14th, 2007 at 12:49 am
138as the film is about a young sam and how he became a splinter cell, i`d say scott foley from the unit!!!!
also dennis haysbert as lambert!!!!!!!
March 27th, 2007 at 1:11 am
139george clooney seems to be the best, if not, harrison ford.
March 27th, 2007 at 1:16 am
140accually, to be honest, I think bruce willis looks just like sam fisher, if not do george clooney, but not harrison ford because he doesn’t have the right look. But he’s one good actor which is what really matters…
July 1st, 2008 at 9:44 pm
141Clooney would be good. So would Mat Damon. But I think that Pierce Brosnan would be pretty good.
