I have fond memories of the original TMNT cartoons which aired in the 80’s (but I’m not much for the 2003 series–I must be getting old, eh?).

It appears the franchise is being resurrected with the latest installment, the fourth feature film, to be released in March of 2007, picking up from the last movie, which was released in 1993.
The teaser trailer is now available for viewing at apple.com.

1Looks like you posted it before I got the chance. Great teaser. This movie’s actually going to skip TMNT 3: Turtles in Time and pick up after the second movie. Personally, I wish it would’ve skipped the second movie, too, as it was just as bad as 3 (though TMNT 1 is still a great flick).
Also, they revealed that Japanese voice actor Mako (Aku from Samurai Jack) will be voicing Splinter. Sweet.

2Yeah, sorry Spengs. I know this is your expertise. But I just love the Turtles. I practically grew up with them (and the Ghostbusters).

6I used to be a big turtle fan, and even though I can’t watch the modern cartoon I still enjoy them. However, I have to say that I preffer their old look better (I’m refering to the movies).

9Uh oh. A movie for the Ultimate, Fiercest, Crime fighting Ninja Turtles, It’s a remake, and now the Ninja turtles are going to be ruined, this better have the same people who originally produced the movie and the original cartoon series. This has bad remake written all over it if it doesn’t have the same producers.

10Why can’t they leave the classics alone.
