Now that Insert 25 is hitting its stride and FG has an upcoming redesign (looking at late March launch) I guess I should let it be known that I am looking for some anime/manga writers. You may recall that a couple of weeks ago I did a search for the best anime sites and while I did find a ton of great forums and sites with torrent files, I didn’t find an anime site that I truly wanted to visit day in and day out.

If you know me well enough you know that when this happens I create a site of my own (eg. Whitespace, CSS Vault, FG, and Work Boxers). When looking for writers for FG and I25, I have was a little more lenient on the amount of posts that I wanted, but for this site I am going to be more strict only because my passion for anime is that much stronger. Here is what I am looking for:

• 3-5 posts a week
• 1 review a month (the amount of reviews and posts can mix and match. For example, 3-4 reviews could make up for the lack of any posts)
• Passion or at least a strong interest in anime
• Knows how to have fun

What benefits do you get? Well basically you make however much money you put into the site. You get the Google ads on your entries and if in the future I ever introduce some other form of advertising there will be revenue sharing involved (don’t worry FG and I25 crew, this applies to you as well). However, don’t let money be your motivation as that only lasts temporarily. You have the benefit of joining something new and exciting and get to meet new people and make some new friends (I think JC and Derek are actually getting married this summer after meeting through FG…I kid, I kid).
