I’ve finally fixed my home theater system at home.

It took me more than a year to finally put everything in its proper place and I’m quite happy with the results. I currently have a 5.1 system with Mission speakers all around. I have now properly placed my surrounds at the back and I am really hearing a big difference with the new placement. Sound effects are really starting roll when I play my reference DVDs — of course, being the geek that I am it would have to be the Lord of The Rings trilogy as well as the Star Wars movies.

I am really happy with the results. So happy, in fact, that I am now shopping for two more speakers so I can finally realize the true potential of my 7.1 Denon receiver. As it is I am already stoked enough to rewatch all of the LOTR extended editions — even if it is going to eat up more than 9 hours of my time.
