Here’s your chance to get yourself an Enigma machine and relive World War II in the comfort of your own home. Current bid price is EUR 12,250.00, but the owner is reportedly rooting for a final bid of EUR 40,000.00.
The enigma is a portable rotor-based cipher machine used by the Nazis during WWII to encrypt communications. The allied forces were reported to have had a very difficultt time decrypting the message transmissions until they got their hands on one such device.
Did you know that the Enigma’s level of encryption could reach up to 380 bits? That’s even better than our standard 256-bit encryption! But the best thing about getting to own one is undoubtedly the coolness factor.

1Why noone bids 50 grand on the Enigma? is a piece of history!!
and is not, as someone said, Nazi memorabilia. Is an impressive device that makes the defeat of Hitler a rough work. And also help to do it!
Any millonaire to spend 50000 on the Enigma?

3A DIY kit is cool, but an authentic machine that had seen action is way cooler!
