A Japanese company called Runat has just released a small flash DAP player called MixStick that is definitely reminiscent of the first generation iPod Shuffle. It has 512Mb of internal memory, and an SD slot that supports up to 1GB cards. However, I don’t recommend any Shuffle lovers to buy this player if their music libraries are in AAC, because this player only supports MP3 and WMA.
Although it is a nice player for children, and the controls are intuitive, the plastic “silver coating” seems very prone to scratch, still, a gift like this would make a very nice first-DAP-gift for one of your younger relatives.
