The Nokia 770 is an Internet tablet running Debian Linux on a 4.13″ diagonal screen with a resolution of 800×480.

It appears to work much like a Palm or Tablet PC, with no keyboard and a stylus input device. It supports 802.11b and Bluetooth, using either to connect to the Internet (using a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone as a modem). It sports a virtual keyboard, but will also include handwriting recognition.

In addition to the Opera web browser, the 770 will also ship with a RSS news reader, an Internet radio, various media players, a PDF viewer, and Flash v6 compatibility.

The unit will sell for about $350 in the U.S. and should be available in the third quarter of 2005.
