Every now and then people like to remind themselves about the controllers they used to use. And over the years they have changed a lot. From the Square blocks and sticks of the Atari to the small and thin joypads until the bulky alien-like controllers we have today with analogue buttons, vibrating engines and voice and video activated commands.
There are a lot of controllers missing on that list, but it gives you nice all-round perspective on it. You can also check out a game controller family tree if you want.
