I never thought it would ever happen, but it just did! Fallout 3 is nearing completion and it looks like it is going to be one awesome game.
Fallout 3 was one of the more problematic titles in game development history to the point that development on the game was eventually shelved. The game was in limbo for a number of years and just laid stagnant in Interplay’s vaults until Bethesda decided to buy the game rights for a cool 5 million dollars.
And now, we are about to see one of the best open ended RPGs in history as done by the best PC RPG maker on earth. You will understand why this is getting me all excited. Based on various reports, Fallout 3 will have over 200 different endings and that’s not a typo. The game developers wanted to tailor the ending to each gamer’s experience and the effects of their decisions throughout the game. This is something to really look forward to.
Hopefully, the game will be released this year, but if I’ve been able to wait for almost ten years then what’s a few more months to a year?

2I just hope that it is as good as Oblivion was. More to the point, I don’t want it to go down the route of Bioshock…
