A couple of days ago Sony posted on their website the list of the Playstation 3 launch titles. However, if you check that previous link you’ll confirm that the list is no longer there, nor is there any reference to any Playstation 3 title either.

Could this be related to the recent rumors that the PS3 won’t make a Spring launch?

Until now, Sony hasn’t confirmed anything. When enquired by GamesIndustry.biz, a Sony spokesperson refused to comment on the removal of the titles by saying:

“We are working on the launch of PlayStation 3 and a confirmed list of titles will be announced at the appropriate time.”

As for the list itself it went as follows:

• The Eye of Judgement
• Genji 2
• Angel Rings
• Monster Carnival
• Everybody’s Golf 5
• Gran Turismo Series

This list seems a bit weird for their PS3 launch since it doesn’t feature many of the “classic” Sony debut titles such as Wipeout, Tekken or Ridge Racer.
