Some people really have too much time on their hands. A clever programmer known only as Dampe, has taken the incredibly hard task of trying to convert “the Ocarina of Time” into a 2D game. From the trailer available on his site, the game engine seems to be very fluid, and if he manages to complete this project it could very well become one of the most popular game conversions ever.

I wish him the best of luck, however, I’m a bit concerned about how he’ll be able to convert the water dungeon (future) since it required a lot of 3D movement.

1Cool Man good for you.
I am twelve and I tried to do the same thing,
but just as said on this website.
I got stuck on the water dungeon and gave up.
(i tried to make it a platformer instead of the RPG type of game[view])

3Oh my goodness, Ocarina of Time? 2D?! Hah… that’s some good stuff C:
But… I’m sure that indeed, the water dungeon level would be hard… there are a lot of 3D movements.

5It’s been officially stated that the game is now cancelled. It’s a shame the creator died at a very young age (15 years old).
RIP Richard (Dampe’) Denton.
