If you’re looking for a late night way to make your head hurt, this is it. Of course, when trying to explain the history of the universe in less than 200 words, big words are about the only way to do it.
The piece I came across was originally written by Eric Shulman of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. I also found another page with a few translations.
And, yes, I googled “planetisimal accretion.”

1“A few translations?” Let me tell you that I’ve worked for years to obtain those 30+ translations into real languages and 40+ silly translations. In any case, I’m glad you liked the piece! You might also enjoy the book I wrote based on it, A Briefer History of Time. It was published in 1999 and last year I put an updated version on the web in PDF with a Creative Commons License. You can download this version of the book from http://members.verizon.net/~vze3fs8i/bhtes/

2I changed the translation link to the correct one. I wish I had followed the proper link before — then I would have found the short history of the universe translated to C++ and binary.
