As another year goes by, another form of P2P file-sharing seems to disappear, or start fading away. If I were to look back at these days 10 years from now, I’d probably say that these are the “dark days” of music. Not because of the lack of decent music, or music sharing services, but due to the negative image that the RIAA transmits to everyone across the world.

Even though sharing music files publicly might lead to an arrest, there’s nothing wrong with backing up your music in an FTP. And I guess there’s nothing wrong if you take advantage of a very powerful search engine, in this case Google, to look for those so said music files.

To do so, all you need to do is this: Create a new bookmark and use the address on this file for it’s location:

Download file

Then, on the keyword field, place a word, like ‘music’ for instance. And then you just need to type down “music nirvana” or whatever to search for music easily.

So now you can party like it was Napster in 1999! (ok, so it was in the year 2000, but then my pun wouldn’t work)
