One of the most hotly anticipated movies next year is the new Iron Man movie. The cleverly cast film (Robert Downey, Jr. is a spot on choice for Tony Stark) is scheduled to be shown on May 2, 2008, which marks beginning of the summer film season. Of course, a superhero film will never be complete with the merchandising. At action-figure.com, someone already posted previews of the upcoming toy line from Hasbro.

This is a potentially impressive line. I especially love the prototype armor that is reminiscent of the first Iron Man armor in the comicbooks. I’m definitely adding these toys to my collection.
