I swear that Microsoft will never learn. They keep trying to create better security, not understanding that with better security comes better cracks, hacks, and other ways of getting around said security. It seems Microsoft is putting all of its versions of Windows Vista on one DVD and allowing users to upgrade between them by purchasing a product key.
The pricing for Vista, which will be the same as equivalent versions of its current Windows XP operating system, with Vista Home Basic at $199, Vista Business at $299, and the most expensive will be Vista Ultimate, at $399.
Upgrades from Windows XP will be cheaper, ranging from $100 to $259.
Does anyone else think that it will only take a week before people have Ultimate keys flying around the Internet as well as a way to stop Microsoft from knowing you don’t really have a legitimate key?
