Amazon.com finally unveiled their much talked about e-book reader a few weeks ago. In a Manhattan launch event, the Kindle was revealed to the world. The gadget weighs 10 ounces and will cost $400.

The Kindle measures 7.5 - by - 5 inches and has the ability to store up to 200 books. It will use the EVDO cellular network in order to wirelessly connect to Amazon itself. It has a storage capacity of 180MB and you can have the option to buy an SD memory card for more storage.

The Kindle will not win any graphic design awards. It has the bland look of computers of yore and is ho-hum boring in looks.

It would be interesting to see if an e-book reader will capture the attention of buyers. I know that previous e-books have failed to really ignite the market.
