It has finally been confirmed that Heath Ledger will be playing the role of the Joker, Batman’s arch-nemesis, in the upcoming sequel to ‘Batman Begins’. The rumor had been circulating around the net for nearly a month with no confirmation from Warner Bros until now.

It would also appear that the title for the sequel has been confirmed as “The Dark Knight” rather than anything silly, like “Batman Continues”.
