Although this add-on will not see the light of day outside of Japan, unless other countries suddenly decide to start supporting Wireless television broadcasting, just like in the “good old days” of B&W televisions, it’s always nice to see how the technologies are developing, and how well it’s working with the most popular devices.
With the PSP being one of those said devices and despite it’s mild, but considerable, success, no one can deny that it is currently the portable console that is best suited for media. And according to the author of the original article, this nifty add-on turns the PSP into a portable TV with a quality that is comparable to the best 1Seg Tuners he’s seen so far.

Whether this will be able to lure consumers away from purchasing 1Seg-enabled cellphones or not, is anyone’s guess. But it is undoubtedly a very neat device, and a great way to make better of use of your PSP’s gorgeous screen.
