Reader Chad writes in with a simple request. He is looking to help his friend name his new business. Here are the details:
I need help coming up with a name for a computer repair/networking company. The three things I’ll offer that no one else does in Abilene is 24/7 service with no mark-up in price for after hours work, no mark-up on parts, and lower service charges than everyone else. I have everything planned out as far as monthly costs and so on, just no name to register. I would greatly appreciate any ideas you may have.
I was thinking Perpetual Tech or something like that. You know, always moving (open)? You have any suggestions?

2How about not posting such advertisment here ?
I might sound rude, but let me clarify my thoughts.
How does this “news” concerns people visiting this website ? I’ve seen more and more postings being questions asked to the community (I personaly don’t like that, but I can live with it), but this one isn’t even close to what I thought was the purpose of this website :
Just tell me now…
If we’re going to see more and more personal postings like this one, then I’d consider FG is turning into a personal blog. That I wouldn’t like. Just my 2ยข

7Let’s see, I posted 3 items so far today. 1 was ‘personal’ the other 2 were news and resources. It’s inevitable to have ‘personal’ posts on a site like this when it’s in transition. Through the beauty of RSS you are offered the power to skip over them.
When I start asking what I should have for dinner is the time you should begin to worry.

12Personally I don’t like names of businesses that relate to the industry they are in. It immediatly restrains the business from growing into other sectors or changing completely.
The name is no-where near as important as the image you create. A name that stands out from the crowd. One that is different, but easy to remember.
What about: Cack or Whizz or Zort
Zort, The support you need when you need it!
