3For my final comment flood on this fine article, IE7 is a nice browser… FOR ME TO POOP ON!
First you get the pleasure of changing your product key so the installer is convinced you own a legit copy of Windows, then changing it back after the install so Windows Update doesn’t freak out and start firebombing your house. The browser itself looks almost identical to Firefox, except the super new “innovation” of moving the menubar below everything else, and making sure the UI functions drastically different than any other piece of software on your computer. The tabs don’t look much different than the MSN toolbar tabs hack, but they’re functional and the button to open a new tab is nice. The CSS support is still largely broken, but a few random things have changed so CSS monkeys will have a field day trying to figure out which IE hacks broke, which ones are irrelevant, which ones still need to be applied, etc.

9FIREFOX IS A SLOW PIECE OF CRAP. STFU YOU NOOBS. Not only does it take more resources than Internet Explorer, but the download speed is random, and when I downloaded the the same file five times with both IE and Firefox, IE got 5/5 for speed. Hmmm…I wonder why?
Idiots

12Even IE7 is not standart compilant browser. While Firefox 1.5 fully supports css2 and some of css3 feautures, IE doesn’t supports even all css2 feautures. And I heared that “Microsoft doesn’t plan to fully support the latest CSS standard in IE 7.0″ http://www.windowsitpro.com/articles/index.cfm?articleid=47208&cpage=14
What about JavaScript?.. Firefox has built in core JavaScript support and even some of it’s parts are writen in JavaScript (extensions). So it fully supports latest JavaScript!
Firefox is opensource product and it’s developers responsible for writing clean and bugless code, but nobody can see what is in IE… You say - so, why IE is most popular than Firefox? Because IE ships with Windows…
