I was about to blog about my recent Batman action figure haul that was to beef up my existing Batman collection but I’ve decided to talk about my new love for Revoltech figures instead.
Revoltech figures are made by the Japanese company Kaiyodo and are known for their high degree of articulation. The figures all carry a unique joint, called a Revolver joint. This little wonder of engineering allows for a wide degree of movement that allows you to pose the figure into really fantastic poses.
I’ve always been intrigued by Revoltech toys but never really took the plunge until I got the opportunity to get Mazinkaiser and Getter Robo figures from an online seller. It was the best damn decision I made. I am now hooked on these figures and I am seriously considering some of my toys so that I can just concentrate on Batman and Revoltech. I haven’t had the time to really play with it and take pictures of my toys but the picture above gives a pretty good indication as to how beautiful these Revoltech toys are.

1That’s actually pretty cool. Is there any manga/anime to go with them? They look a bit like Robotech but with a more evil slant.

2Revoltechs are actually a line of super poseable figures that carry the proprietary revoltech joints that allow for a great degree of movement. The figure above is Mazinkaiser. They actually produce figures from different animes or mangas like Macross, Shin Getter, Patlabor, Evangelion, and even Transformers. It’s not relegated to robots though, they’ve got figures like Dante from Devil May Cry that just kicks ass!
