I’m all for technological achievements, but I don’t see a great amount of use for this unless it’s used together with that flexible e-paper they’re developing.

2They could ‘wrap’ these around components inside devices, thus not being constrained in a product’s final form factor the typical rectangular or cylindrical dimensions of the power source.

4are you kidding?! there are a million uses for this! let’s *start* with not having the constraint of the size of a battery to power a device when designing it. sure, they have become create with where to hide batteries (think a cd player, in which the batteries are next to the lazer, under the cd.) but honestly, batteries are still BIG! a flexable battery is much more dynamic, and i think this is a FANTASTIC idea. i can’t wait to see this in mainstream production!
