I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but Microsoft has updated their favicon recently to what appears to be a reduced version of their current one:

I don’t know if this small icon will remain only as an icon, or if Microsoft intends to use it as a new logo in the future. But for what it’s worth, I think that it’s a nice little change, even if the rest of their site remains incredibly hard to navigate.

For those that don’t know what a favicon is. It’s the small graphical logo that usually appears besides the address (URL) of the page you are visiting. Most modern browsers like IE6, Firefox and Opera support it. In the case of ForeverGeek, it’s the dark circle with a white outline over a gray background.
