Just like we previously covered, Nokia has finally released an update for it’s N800 internet tablet device. This new update gives the device Skype support, improves it’s sensibility, which should make the device easier to use, and adds a Rhapsody music player.

In the “old days”, for such a relevant update, and increase of functionality, Nokia would usually release an entirely new device with very similar, or identical, specifications. But thankfully it appears that those days are gone, and Nokia has finally decided to give it’s devices a longer, and more “noticeable” support.

Sure, they have released firmware updates that fix a few bugs, or improve the performance and stability a little, for their other devices, but there has never been such a relevant update as this one before. Hopefully this will be the first initiative, of many, to give their devices better support.
