Batpod: Dumbest Batvehicle Yet?

Batpod Recently, the first image of Batman’s next vehicle were posted. It is a motorcycle with a Batman flair. Currently, nicknamed the Batpod, it is an interesting looking vehicle.

Personally, I am not impressed with the vehicle, but it seems like all Batman fans are polarizing over this announcement.

The Dark Knight opens July 18, 2008. Let’s hope this isn’t the primary vehicle for our caped crusader.

Yeah. I was a big fan of what Nolan did with Batman Begins — I thought that, as the movies panned out, Batman’s gear would evolve from a mishmash of hand-me-downs and prototypes to more Bat-inspired repertoire…

Yeah, that’s…um….interesting looking.

I have to say, the biggest problem I had with Batman Begins was the scene with the Batmobile running over the rooftops and sending cop cars rolling over (something about Batman killing cops…or at least severely injuring them didn’t sit well with me) .

I would imagine the scene this thing is in is going to be the same kind of scene in The Dark Knight.
