Google has basically buried their Froogle site by removing it from the Google home page, and replacing it with Google Video. Steve Rubel noticed it yesterday, and hitwise shows what happens when a site is removed or added to the Google home page.

2I hope they don’t bury Froogle completely. I don’t mind if it re-appears in a different form, but I think that Froogle *is* the way we should shop for items on the internet.

3“Froogle drops to next to nothing”?????
Did you actually look at the chart? Looks like froogle dropped from 0.024 to 0.021. Not a significant drop at all. It had much bigger drops in traffic on June 24, July 31, and August 7.
