The creator of some of our favorite classic games, and best known all-time game icons in the industry has been recently nominated for Time’s top 100 list of most influential people. When we think of the gaming industry’s biggest names, his is usually the one that pops up first in our heads.

I have no doubts, in my mind, that he is the gaming industry’s most influential person. The question is, does the rest of the world consider him worthy enough to belong to the list of the most influential persons on the planet? And the answer is: Apparently they do, because he is currently placed in third spot of the list with little over 18 thousand votes.
