If you are one of those very few people who are skeptic about World of Warcraft’s popularity or quality, then let there be no more doubts. Blizzard has just announced that their extremely popular MMORPG has surpassed the 8 million subscribers mark shooting itself even further away from any competitors.

And this number could very well increase even more as retired WoW veterans (if there even are any) might be returning to the game to play with it’s upcoming expansion: the Burning Crusade, which will go on sale in Europe and America next week, on the 16th of January.
