Yesterday we reported the fact that MSN has a new search engine out and I proceeded to rip it apart over at Whitespace. Well if you would like to bypass all of that nonsense for your own site and show the world how to really design a search engine then install ht://Dig and get digging (man that was horrible).

It won’t let you seach the whole Internet since that would require you to spider every site in existence, but it does provide you with a search engine for your own server which can come in handy for those people who don’t like ot use the Linux commandline.
