Ever wanted to learn Morse code? Maybe you wanted to get your amateur radio license, but just couldn’t wrap you head around the code. Well there is help for people like you and it’s called Aldo. Aldo is a Morse tutor released under GPL and developed for GNU/Linux.

1I like a more low-tech approach to learning Morse Code–there’s a very intelligently designed chart available at http://www.learnmorsecode.com/. Check it out. Of course, you’ll need code to listen to, so the computer program might be good for that, but I like the dit/dah chart approach. :P

2The Koch method (mental sound images) is the only true way. All charts and clever tricks are just a load of balony. Take it from someone who knows !
