About a month ago I made an in-depth article about a great and promising PSP shell called PSix, and a couple of days ago they released the latest version of their shell for PRO (users that have payed a symbolic value of $15 USD) in order to test out beta features.

Here is the changelist for this latest version:

- Icon support added (rename icon to icon.png and place in % folder of desired homebrew)
- Audio codec revamped, play any sized mp3 you want (clicks every now and then but nothing horrible, we’ll iron that out eventually.
- New icon-over code

- Partial filemanager system, will be complete next version
- OSK in place (file manager rename button to check it out)
- Various code fixes and optimizations
- Updates to security system

Please remember that all these features are beta and will arrive to the lite (free) version sooner or later. Paying to become a PRO user doesn’t give you the access to more features, it only gives you the opportunity to test and help out in ironing bugs in new features and helps separate those which really have good intentions from those who only want to annoy the dev team.
